meet our interns and volunteers

2022 Administrative Assistant

My name is Stephanie, I am one of the newest members of the ALL foundation. I have always loved helping people. Helping others is just one of the small ways I feel can make an impact in the world, which has always been one of the top goals in life. I fell in love with the art of storytelling from a young age. Whether through reading, writing, or getting caught up in a good movie or tv show, powerful stories and media have always fascinated me. In college I majored in Film and Media studies with the hope of one day sharing my own stories with the world.

I am excited to be with the ALL foundation and help them continue to grow!

2022 Volunteer Coordinator

My Name is Charlene Cotton, I'm a single parent of three wonderful children. For many years I have been involved with my church and at a private Christian school volunteering. During this time I have a bit of everything and worn many hats: bus ministry, nursery, chef, fundraising and sports and more.
At present, I'm employed as a food service teacher. My classes consist of mentally challenged individuals with disabilities as well as students with discipline issues.
While raising my three children I achieved my Associate's degree in Culinary Arts from the Art Institute Of Philadelphia. From there I became an Executive Chef with Sodexo for 11 years. Following that, I pursued my teaching certificate and became a food service teacher. Some of my hobbies include gardening, traveling, and enjoying spending time with my family. I really enjoy working with people which is why I excel in bringing individuals together to achieve a common goal.
I feel honored to be joining the ALL foundation as a Volunteer Coordinator especially being that I have already been a part of so many of their past events as a volunteer myself!

Thank you to our Three Pathfinders High school interns, Chelsea H, Evelia R, and Sadman H who collaborated during 10 weeks to volunteer at the ALL Foundation.
This collaboration was made possible through the NY board of education and AT&T.

2022 Social Media Intern

Hello, my name is Rachael W, and I am the Social Media Intern at The ALL Foundation. I am very excited to be a part of the team! I have an extensive clinical background as a Pharmacy Technician in both retail and hospital pharmacy. I fell in love with helping others in the pharmacy and decided I wanted to pursue a career where I can make a

difference through health and science communication. I am currently in my final semester as an undergraduate Public Health student, and my passion is health communication and social media. I share a deep connection with The ALL Foundation because I was recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, Connective Tissue Disease, as a college student. Thank you so much for this opportunity!

2022 Administrative Assistant Intern

I'm Deshna J K, and I'm really excited to join the team to help make a difference in the lives of others. I am currently in high school and am planning on going into Engineering so I can learn more about and create experiences that give back to the community. I run outreach clubs that work on solutions to learning gaps and manage businesses,

where I'm enthusiastic about using organization to connect deeply with more people. I appreciate that the ALL Foundation is passionate about bridging the autoimmune disease group with more knowledge and support and I can't wait to play a part in that impact!

2021 Grant Writer

Nicholas K is a volunteer Grant Writer with ALL. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Affairs. While pursuing his degree, he developed his interests of research and writing, and hopes to go into grant writing as a career. Nicholas has worked in retail for over 16 years, an experience that has instilled a deep appreciation for being connected to

others and sharing knowledge. Having an autoimmune disease, he looks forward to doing his part to help others living with similar challenges. A key belief he has is that God’s love is amazing, and we can see this if we are willing to depend on Him. In his free time, he enjoys learning about different health and dietary topics, watching classic movies, and being outdoors.

2021 Grant Writing Intern

Stephen H is our Grant Writing Intern, and he is excited to make a difference in the autoimmune community. Diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease at 17, he understands what it is like to attend college with an autoimmune disease. Stephen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English from The College of New Jersey in May 2020. He is passionate about leadership, which is why he was a captain of the

TCNJ track and field team for 2 years.
He also has a background in Education, as he did some student teaching in Lawrence School District in a Middle School English Language Arts classroom. Stephen is excited to join us in his first grant writing role. In the future, he hopes to get a full-time grant writing job or a job with a publishing house. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, working out, and reading and writing.
